Each session game will start with an instructional session led by Ron Caputo, Duke University Assistant Coach and the Duke players. All teams will be coached by Duke players.

Program Summary 

"Lax On the Hill", is the premier fall play league, for Triangle high school lacrosse player, offered at two convenient locations: Duke University, and Cary Elementary School.  The Durham Site Director is Ron Caputo, Assistant coach at Duke University, and the Cary Site Director is longtime TSL Coach, and former Syracuse University midfielder, Ryan Cummings. The League is held on Sunday afternoons at Duke and Saturday afternoons in Cary, so as not to conflict with the ongoing, weeknight academic responsibilities of our student athletes.  The format is designed so that each player is assigned to a team that competes against others of its kind over the course of a six weekend season, which runs from late September, to early November.  Particular emphasis is placed upon a "teaching component", a 20 minute instructional demonstration offered by our expert staff and distinguished guests (last season included a lecture by Gary Gait), which preceeds actual play.
